We built Rafik by running our own law firm on it.
Rafik started in 2026 to make small and mid-size law firms AI-native. Before offering it to anyone, we moved our own firm in Mexico onto it, with real clients and real matters.
Why we started with our own firm
The hard part of becoming AI-native is the operating model: which work an agent does alone, which work a lawyer approves, and how deadlines, conflicts and money stay defensible. You only learn that by taking a firm through the change. So we did it with ours first.
Customer zero, every day
Our firm in Mexico, open since 2021, runs on Rafik today: 700+ matters a month with eight people and 98% client retention. It keeps serving companies that have no legal department, so every firm on Rafik runs on a model we use daily with paying clients.

Gustavo Rodríguez

Corporate lawyer for 16 years, in-house and inside law firms. He built and runs the firm that is Rafik’s customer zero, profitable without outside capital. Studied at Georgetown and LSE, on scholarship.
